Birth Prep & Recovery Organic Massage Oil

I received this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel and was very excited to try it out. The best aspect about this massage oil is it’s natural ingredients. It is made from organic oils and 100% natural so I feel comfortable putting on and in my body. My partner and I just took a class on perineal stretching and massage appropriate for 36 week + expecting moms and the Lansinoh birth prep and recovery organic massage oil is the perfect product for us to use! It has the right consistency so that it is thick enough to use without spilling everywhere but yet isn’t greasy. And it is free of harsh fragrances that could be irritating to sensitive pregnant skin. It has been soothing to use to prepare for labor and I am bringing it in my hospital bag for post-partum use as well!

The Lansinoh birth prep & recovery organic massage oil is a perfect item to add to your pregnancy care line up. Im 35 weeks pregnant and have been using this oil daily to hydrate my dry itching, stretching belly and its already helping. The massage oil is very easy to use, and has a great consistency that isn’t too sticky or watery. This oil can also be used for perineal massage, and I’m eager to use in hopes of not tearing during labor. So happy to use this product, knowing it’s organic with clean ingredients.

The only con I have with this product would be the way to get the oil out. A little pump would have been nice for a easier application. The long cap on the bottle is nice for no spills!

I recommend this to all pregnant moms. This product will be included in my Mommy kits for friends and family who are expecting!

I received this oil as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impressions of the packaging when I received it, were that the lid made the bottle look deceptively large. Once you remove the lid, it's actually quite a small bottle.

I have been using the oil daily on my abdomen and perineum. It doesn't have any particular aroma, which I like, as my prior body oil had a distinct smell that was too strong at times.

I like how easy it is to dispense. You need to squeeze the bottle to allow the oil to come out, which cuts down on unexpected gushes. For the perineal massage you only need a couple of drops, and they're easy to dispense in a controlled manner, by simply tilting the bottle and it dispenses one drop at a time.

I liked the clear instructions, and the readable ingredients. I felt confident putting this on my growing belly.

I think that this bottle would last a mom for several weeks. I don't think it would last the entire pregnancy, due to the small volume within the bottle.

I received this product from the Stellar Product testing panel. I like that the perineal massage oil was not too oily and it blends into the skin. Although, it did not prepare me for labor and I barely used it for the perineal. I used it mostly on my stomach and back for aches. The bottle it came in was very easy to pout into my hand. Rubbing my hands together making the oil warm was really helpful. I did not use the oil as much as I wish I did. The ingredients in the oil are very pure and legit. I love products that uses things in it that I know what it is.

I didn’t use it for a perineal massage but rather as a general massage oil for my belly postpartum, anything to aid the shrinking uterus! It definitely helped me relax a bit, especially as a first time mom. Also, where I live, the air is particularly dry so it’s a great moisturizer as well. The only reason why I docked a star is because i wish there was a less messier and easier way to get the oil out. You have to just flip it upside down and wait for the oil to come out but flipping it back over sometimes leave a mess around the spout and I don’t want massage oil trickling down the container. Seems like a waste of oil.

I received this pre-birth massage oil from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I did not use this for perineal massage, but used it on my belly. This pregnancy my skin became sensitive to textures, and lotion would not only irritate me physically, but mentally. I did not enjoy the sticky residue it would leave on my skin. Once I received this oil, I switched to this. I loved this oil because I feel like it truly hydrated my skin, but did not leave me feeling oily. Something that was really important to me. My two-year-old loved watching me apply it to my belly, and would ask for it to be applied to her too. Due to the ingredients, I knew it was safe for her young skin and would allow her a couple of drops to put on her belly to match mom, it made it fun for both of us!
