    Nice smelling postpartum spray

I received this peri relief spray from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The postpartum spray was cooling and provided relief upon application, and I just generally liked this better than the Dermaplast that the hospital gives out. It can be sprayed upside down which is nice, plus it smells good. I didn't try it out of the refrigerator but that does seem like a good option.

    Great Witch Hazel Spray

Great postpartum perineal spray. This was my third pregnancy - normal vaginal delivery with a few stitches. I began using this spray right away and really liked the cooling sensation. Instead of using witch hazel pads like I did with my previous pregnancies, I have been spraying this directly on to the perineal area as well as spraying it onto the absorbent pad. Smells great and provides much needed relief. The bottle is easy to use and sprays upside down as well. I received the spray in exchange for my honest review from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

    Great postpartum spray

I was given this peri bottle to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, about two weeks after giving birth to baby #2. I had a vaginal delivery and as much as I wish I could rest, I'm chasing after a toddler most of the time. At the end of the day, I'm quite sore. I was actually surprised at how well this spray helped with the soreness I was experiencing. I use it every time after I use the bathroom, and it provides relief for a decent amount of time. I appreciate that the spray is a fine mist and that I can spray it from any angle. Bonus points that it smells good and has natural ingredients!

    Not for me

The spray does what it's intended, i suppose. The bottle sprays well and upon application it feels cool, but then it's just wet and I'm not a big fan of that sensation after I've finished carefully patting myself dry. I would apply it liberally if it included any ingredients that would speed my recovery, but the list of ingredients is long and very chemical-y. The second ingredient is alcohol, which doesn't send like the most "natural" substance to be spraying down there... Not to mention it seems alcohol would be very drying to the skin. I received this as part of the Stellar Products Testing Panel. I would not purchase.

    Smells Great and Cools Effectively

This cooling spray has been helping me a lot, especially with an episiotomy. The cooling effect is instant and I love how you can place in the fridge for some extra cooling (trust me it works). I also love how it smells as it makes it feel like a mini spa treatment.I knocked one star because of how it sprays-you have to spray with the bottle inside down and while it works-the flow isn’t great and it sprayed a very direct line instead of a soft mist which I think would be more comfortable to apply. I received the product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and overall it is a good product to get the job done and provide relief.

Herbal Postpartum Spray Beats Witch Hazel Pads

I want to thank the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this herbal postpartum spray from Lansinoh! This spray was a total game changer for me, as this was my second pregnancy. It made recovery from birth MUCH easier.

Following my first pregnancy and delivery, I used some witch hazel pads that were recommended to me for perineum pain relief. This involved pressing them onto the heavy flow pads I was using. It seemed like a great solution, and provided some relief, until it was time to remove them. I did not enjoy having to pull the small round pads off my body or having them drop into the toilet as they were not flushable. I’m sure many women can relate - it was annoying, difficult, and a bit unsanitary.

Cue pregnancy number two, and this herbal spray from Lansinoh. I was able to spray it directly onto my skin, or into my pad. Much easier to use without the messy removal and it worked great to numb the pain of delivery. The versatility of the spray is nice - it was easy to spray on my sore parts without straining, and it even sprayed easily while upside down, which every birthing person will tell you is quite important during postpartum recovery.

I would absolutely recommend this spray to all expecting birthing people for their postpartum recovery journey. The ingredients are all natural, and the ingredient label makes it easy to understand what the ingredients are by including their common names in parentheses. I personally try to avoid overmedicating, so the natural relief and numbing nature of the spray was very helpful in that regard.

Overall, this spray makes things much easier regarding postpartum recovery. The fourth trimester is difficult, and anything that makes your life easier regarding the recovery process is always worth having. I highly recommend!
